Sky Watch Friday

I saw hundreds of crows having their meals eating alates while on the air, few days ago. According to Wikipedia, an alate is a winged reproductive of a social insect. Thousand of these alates were flying from the bushes.

Then I managed to capture this nice sunset,

And, 29th July half moon..

Sky Watch Friday- Hazy Sky

The sky was a bit hazy lately, I am not quite sure the reason. There might be open fire somewhere which resulted in hazy sky. These photos were taken few days ago at the college where I study in Perak, Malaysia.
This is bad for our health, lets keep our air clean, do not open burning..

Sky Watch Friday- Kota Bharu, Kelantan

I captured these 2 pictures at my grandmother hometown, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. It was almost sunset when I saw this beautiful sun behind the clouds. My father stopped the car we were in beside the road to let me capture the sun,

This photo was captured when we stopped at the traffic light while we were on the way back to our grandmother's home.

Sky Watch Friday- Kuala Terengganu

My grandfather's house is in Kuala Terengganu, located in the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. His house is near to the airport. I managed to capture one of Malaysian domestic flights ready to landing at the airport,

Kuala Terengganu has many beautiful beaches. This is one of them, Penarik beach. I went there in the afternoon, not many people go to the beach at noon, too hot.

There was a fisherman boat not far from the beach, maybe waiting for the right time to go to the open sea to catch some fish for living..

Sky Watch Friday- On My Way To My Hometown

Last week during school holidays, my family and I went to visit my grandfather at our hometown in Kuala Terengganu. It tooks us about 6 hours driving to reach there. These 2 pictures were taken from inside our moving car along the Eastcoast highway,
Can you see the palm oil plantation on the left and rubber tree plantation on the right? Malaysia is one of the largest palm oil and rubber producer in the world. You can see thousands of these trees along this highway.

It is almost sunset, the sun was so beautiful,
This picture was taken while we stopped at one of the rest areas after a few hours driving.

Sky Watch Friday- Sultan Abdul Samad Building

Sultan Abdul Samad building is one of the old and historical buildings in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. I went there few weeks ago to capture some pictures of the building for my brother's history project. Since the sky behind the building looks quite nice, why not post these photos for Sky Watch Friday meme..
As you can see, there are tourist busses parked along the road in front of the building as this building is one of the tourist attractions here.
This is a closer look of the clock tower, the sun was directly behind the clock tower..
This building is surrounded by modern and new building,

Sky Watch Friday- Tanjung Harapan, Port Klang

On Sunday I went to Tanjung Harapan, near Port Klang, the largest and the busiest port in Malaysia. Tanjung Harapan is where people come to relax and enjoy sea view and sea breeze.
Since this place located near the port, you can see boats and vessels,
The sky was not bad that day,
Port Klang is well known for the home of crows. You can see the crows everywhere.
