This is our "King of Fruits", Durian. Have you ever seen or taste durian? Some people said durian smells bad, but for us, smell and taste good..
This is Rambutan fruit. I took this picture when I was in my hometown in Terengganu. At that time this rambutan was still young, that is why its color is green. When it is ready to be eaten, the fruit turn to red in color.

Wow, two fruits I have certainly never heard of before. Thanks for the lesson!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of it. I'm so curious about the taste and smell.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the durian candies :)
ReplyDeleteBut give me a ripe, sweet, red, luscious rambutan anytime!
I have never even heard of this fruit, much less seen one. They are very interesting. The first shot looks a bit like our horse chestnuts
ReplyDeleteYay! I still have to learn to eat the durian fruit...still can't bear the smell. But everyone says it's a very delicious one. We have lots of them here too. But I do like the Rambutans...
ReplyDeleteGreat your World.
ReplyDeleteMany Brazilain fruits are from near by Asia.
So the durian & rambutan is coming to town.
ReplyDeleteI love durian hahaha..
Have a nice day.
I miss eating locally grown durian. And your tree has lots of fruit! I agree with the strong smell. I used to eat them when I was a kid. Now, overseas, we only have them frozen and available only at the oriental market, and never taste as good as the fresh ones. Thanks for showing us this photo, making me drool.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots.
