Can you see the fish in the water? Do you recognize the fish? It look like a flying saucer!
It is a Sting Ray, I guess!
This Sting Ray is harmless. You can even touch, play and feed him with your hand. Unbelievable? Believe it..
I captured these photos at Kilim Nature Park, Langkawi Island, Malaysia.

What a fantastic shot you got there, i however would never touch it.
ReplyDeleteIt really is kind of unbelievable! It seems like the sting ray actually likes to being petted. I can't help thinking of the late Steve Irwin when it comes to sting rays, but I would love to see more photos of the Kilim Nature Park :). Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteCan we really hold a sting ray? that's good. I thought that they are that stingy, hahaha...thanks for the visit and for the interest in my blog.
ReplyDeleteThat's really neat!
ReplyDeleteI thought that something in the sting ray's tail would hurt you. Maybe it is just a folklore.
ReplyDeleteEbie, yes, some of the sting ray species have the "sting" at their tails which can hurt you very much. But I don't know about this one, maybe this one don't have that "sting"..
